DO FORGET ME

The central theme of this video revolves around the phrase “Do forget me,” a recurring mantra that slips into consciousness like an obsessive thought. Expressed in English, Italian, and Spanish—intimately connected to the artist’s biography—this phrase resonates with the viewer, evoking memories of people, situations, and places that have left an indelible mark on their lives.

This project is an artistic collaboration with the Venezuelan Penal Forum and exiled political prisoners, incorporating some of their most poignant testimonies. The work seeks to make visible the profound fear of being forgotten by society and the media. This piece invites the audience to reflect on society’s crucial role in preserving and defending democratic values.
